Aerial

2021-2022 Meetings: Wednesdays from 7-9pm at COVL 218

OSURC Aerial is a team that specializes in autonomous multi-rotor and fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems. We build and design aircraft, develop control software, and test our aircraft on regular flight days throughout each term. We are currently working towards the 2021 CPS Challenge, where our aircraft will have to autonomously deploy and recover a soil probe. Between building an airframe and ground station to developing the software to control it, contributions from electrical, mechanical and computer engineers will be essential to the success of this project.

If you would like to work on something more focused, we have many smaller projects available to work on. We would also be happy to help you work through your own projects that relate to UAV systems.

Joining is as simple as showing up to the meetings and signing up for the mailing list.
If you are new, please let the team lead know so they can get you up to speed.
